FLUENT [Fluent Inc.]

FLUENT is a computer program for modeling a wide range of fluid flow andheat transfer and chemically reacting flow problems. FLUENT solves bothfull steady-state and transient Navier-Stokes equations using a finitevolume method in 2-D or 3-D geometries. Turbulent flows are modeledusing the two equations k-E model, the RNG model or the Reynolds stressmodel. FLUENT predicts radiative and convective heat transfer, isothermalflows or flows with heat transfer, reactive flows with chemical species,gases laden with dispersed phase, droplets with or without evaporationand or combustion, flow through porous media, and buoyancy driven flows.The easy to use menu and screen-driven permits interactive geometrymodeling, mesh generation, problem specification, solution and resultsanalysis. 3D graphics enhance FLUENT's pre and post processing andsolution monitoring capabilities.
